Moments LiveNote is made for
Meeting notes, exam nights, shopping lists, incident rooms — real situations, one shared page each.
Everything above is free. Premium removes the ads — and adds branch pages.
Premium hides every ad placement for your signed-in account, on all your devices, and unlocks branch pages — git-style forks of a note, each under its own URL. Notes, sharing and collaboration stay exactly as they are. Renews automatically — cancel any time.

Questions people actually ask
Is LiveNote free?
Yes. Creating notes, sharing them, and editing together in real time are free, and you can use LiveNote without an account.
Do I need to sign up?
No. Notes work anonymously from the first click. A free account is optional: it keeps your notes in a dashboard, syncs them across devices, and adds two-factor authentication.
Who can read my notes?
Anyone with the link can open a note; lock it and only you can edit it. End-to-end encryption goes further: the note is encrypted in your browser, and the server stores only ciphertext it cannot read.
Can other people edit my note?
Only if you give them an editable link or share the note with edit rights. Plain links are read-only, and you can hand out one-time or burn-after-reading links for anything sensitive.
What happens when I stop typing?
Your note is saved automatically; a status indicator in the header shows Saving… / Saved. Made a bad edit? Undo and redo are one click away in the toolbar.
Does LiveNote work on my phone?
Yes. It runs in any mobile browser, and you can install it as an app (PWA) straight from the browser menu. Edits sync live, so your phone and desktop always show the same page.
What happens if I lose the link?
You're covered if you saved the note's Owner Key (LNK…): 'Recover a note with its key' on the login page restores owner access from any browser. Without it, anonymous notes are unlisted — no URL, no way back — so save the link somewhere safe. A free account keeps every note in your dashboard, with a trash for anything you deleted.
Can I control how long a shared link works?
Yes. Beyond plain read-only or editable links you can set an expiry date or a view limit, hand out a one-time link that burns after reading, or share via QR code.
Can I get my notes out later?
Anytime. Export any note as TXT or DOCX with one click — your writing is never locked into LiveNote.
How is LiveNote different from Google Docs or Notion?
No account and no setup. One click opens a page that is already shareable, with optional end-to-end encryption and burn-after-reading links. Docs and Notion are workspaces you organize; LiveNote is the page you share right now.
Your next page is one click away
Open a fresh page, write the first line, and send the link. That is the whole onboarding.
